| Monty Makes The Us Open YES!! YES!! Monty's made the US Open. He had to tie or better 16th place today at Wentworth and with very few players to finish who can influence his position he is T11th. So - he's in the field!! No qualifying required. I'm so glad for him after not making the Masters. Despite what a lot of people think of him, he is a great guy and deserves more recognition. To get the recognition he deserves, he's going to have to play in America which he'll never do. He's without doubt the bester player ever not to win a major and that's the only thing stopping him from making the Golf Hall of Fame.

| Re: Monty Makes The Us Open That's excellent, excellent news! I didn't think he'd get to play in another US open. I'm not optimistic enough to think he's got a chance to win but it's clearly the major that best suits his game so it'll be great if he does well. |
