What type of shaft for a Callaway BB 454??

I see that there are quite a few shafts available for the Callaway 454. I have a swing speed of 115, and a ball speed of around 135. I am 6 foot tall and weight about 190. Any suggestions??

Thanks

Go with the Aldila NV - it's a great shaft. Weight is up to you, but the 65 seems to be the shaft of choice for a lot of players.

I would suggest the 'X' flex, if you're swinging at 115 consistently. The 'S' flex might be a little more forgiving, and provide more distance if you tend to ease off most drives.

Re: What type of shaft for a Callaway BB 454??

You seem to be very similar to my build and swing speeds. The Green Monster is good (Aldila NV) but I think I have found a shaft that is almost as good for much less - the Harrison Striper (blue and Yellow). I order mine in freq'd at 265 raw and only have to butt trim to length. My 3 wood is going about 270 yards and my driver is consistantly over 300 yards.
