Hole in one !

I had a hole in one today at the 18th. It's normally a par 4 but in winter we play off an advanced tee. Took a 3 wood. My 3rd hole in one and my first albertross !

Anybody else had a albertross or double eagle ?

(i did have a 2 on a 5 during a playing lesson...that was fun, "See, that's how you do it!"...got some laughs)

I've had a tap in eagle once about 6 years ago on a par 5.

Todays shot (Around 200 yards) was the longest shot I've hit straight into the hole !

It was a great feeling !

Still not had one myself but who knows maybe this year.


Just something to think about, the next time you play that hole I know you will be so confident you will hit a great shot again, maybe not another hole in one........, try and take that confidence to every hole and how much better would you be, especially on 'that' par three.

Must have been some shot to watch.

I got a par at that "par 3 hole" yesterday.

Took 2 clubs less (a 7 iron) which meant I couldn't reach the dreaded bunker on the left. I hit the green easy but with the flag at the back I had a putt of around 25 yards. Managed to get down in 2.
