Re: How About Tiger? Don't know about you Nick, but if one of our team gave that impression, then I think people would pick up on it pretty quickly, and he wouldn't be in the team for very long. There is no place for a prima donna in the Ryder cup, you have to be on top of your game and have that bit extra to win. Our players are clearly outpointed by the States when it comes to World rankings, but somehow as a team, we always work together.

Re: How About Tiger? Andycap - I see what you are saying but i think i would always want Tiger on my side! IMO opinion it's that the Americans are not motivated enough to win and I wonder if its because there is so much money available on their tour that you do not have to win to have a brilliant lifestyle. Maybe they lose their winning edge. That being said i think with the change in how they pick the team they have great chance to beat us this year - i rather rate JB Homes and I would always have Daly in my team and cannot fathom why he has never been picked! nick

Re: How About Tiger? I agree with Nick on having John Daly in the team. You need to think really carefully about the wildcard selections, and I think that Long John and Paul Azinger would be the ideal choices. But hey, I'm English and don't want to give the Yanks any help beating us ![]()

Re: How About Tiger? i dont think Daly will make it either - just do not understand why a man who can make so many birdies (essential to match play) and really get the crowd on his side (and thats BOTH sets of fans) has never got a look in! Its going to be great match this year - i cant wait nick
