Angry Excruciating off-season

My interest level in playing golf has increased dramatically over the past year, and this cold season is torture! I can't stop thinking about warm days on the course!

Well Boys,

Hate to rub it in but it's beautiful here down under. It's the price one pays for living in such splendor.

No doubt you guys are watching the golf on t.v and getting a few pointers?

Re: Excruciating off-season

Here in southern Sweden we've had snow since right after christmas and no indication it will let up, so haven't played outdoors for over a month.

Wish I lived in a warm country...

Re: Excruciating off-season

Peter, you do live in a warm country.... 6 months of the year, like most of us.

I've discovered indoor golf simulators.

I'm thinking about opening a small brick-and-mortar repair shop, that includes a sim so that I can beat balls year round. (Plus, as a small business, the bank will finance the purchase!)

Re: Excruciating off-season

Here's an idea -- all the guys on this list from Canada will visit the guys on the list from Australia. Deal?

Simulators are going to have to be "it" for now. Come on May -- hurry up!!

Re: Excruciating off-season

I still play every week !

I've played about 12 rounds this year so far.

The course is muddy and the greens are a bit bumpy but if I go a week without playing golf I start to get depressed.

You awful, awful man.

We have too much snow to play. As soon as it disappears, I'll be on the course again.

Re: Excruciating off-season

Luckily we haven't had much snow in the UK this winter.

Even when the greens are icy, I still play.

Thumbs up Re: Excruciating off-season

I like the idea of all the canucks visiting the Aussies...We can form our own Presidents' Cup .....to the winners go a trip to England to play the Brits....
I thought it sounded a right good idea....
