| It's all in the mind!!! I borrowed a putter from a friend recently with a view to buying it from him . I went out the day before yesterday for 18 holes to try it out . In the last 5 rounds I've played I've averaged 36 putts per round. On the first green I had a 25 Foot putt for Birdie and you've guessed it , dead centre all the way. My round consisted of another 4 one putts and 13 two putts for a total of 31 putts. All my lag putts finished within 1-3 foot.I wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary in my routine but from the first putt going in I felt I could do no wrong with this new "saviour" in my hands. I usually score around the 80 mark I had scored a 74 my lowest round ever.I feel I can keep improving I just don't know if I have enough money for a new putter every week (because I know it won't last).![]() |

| Re: It's all in the mind!!! it is good to have serveral putters on hand.....as one gets cold find one that will put you in the right mind so to speak.....a lot of golf is confidence. At some point though....when you cant find the hot putter.....extend pointing finger and extend it towards your general direction |
