course review

hi all,
any of you uk based guys out there ever played heaton park at prestwich manchester. my company have organised a society day so i bit the bullet and entered. this will be my first ever competitive round of golf and just wondered if anyone knows of it. its supposed to be championship standard and they say the place is physically tough course though im not sure whether this is a windup

soz mate i dont know it. i am in the manchester region but im a member at the withington golf club. soz i coulnt be of any help.

no problem fahie ive been told its a monster course just short of 6000 yards loads of holes are blind from the tee and not a lot of flat areas to play from sounds like a cross between golf and mountaineering.lol

lol how many holes is it? and whats the par for it?

its 18 holes par72. first 4 holes you tee off to marker poles the 11th and twelth you have to tee of over tree lined ravines need to carry 150 yds+ and the 17th the green is 20ft above tee about 240yds!
