| Cro-Magnon Man Is there anyone else who refuses to trade in their long irons for hybrids? I suppose I am a foolish purist, but there is something about hitting a 3 iron dead flush that is so satisfying in the sense that you've just done something pretty damned difficult to achieve. Other than on par 3's, I typically don't use one more than a couple times in a round if I am driving well. But by constantly practicing with the longer clubs at the range, I'm convinced it helps my ball striking with the scoring clubs. |
