| first tee nerves? no problem! hi all, played my first ever comp today ended up being a 4 ball better ball stableford. needless to say had my best day ever right from the off remembered to stay calm and have a laugh with team mates and it worked nailed a drive straight and 200yds! decided as advised to work back from hole perhaps a bit risky on my first comp but it worked out great. so to cut a very long story short (to many highlights to record) in abysmal weather i carded a 91 on a very tough course scoring 38 stableford points and thats mainly down to becoming a GTO member. the advice recieved on many subjects has been priceless. BTW my team won!!!!!!!!!! thanks lads and lasses
