Best Tees

Hi All,

Just a quick one as I was wondering what types of tees do people prefer using?

ie. wooden, plastic crown, brush, T maxs etc

Cheers
Mark

Re: Best Tees

I'm a wooden tee guy. I'm too cheap to spend money on other types.

Re: Best Tees

I'm a true scottsman - I use tees I find on the tee box. People chip an edge and throw them out, they still owrk fine so I pick them up when I find them. I probably have over 300 tees in my bag, given away about 500 tees and I haven't bought tees in 8 years.

Re: Best Tees

I use white wood tees, thinking about going to longer ones to promote a shallow driver swing.

Re: Best Tees

I use plastic or some other material. I avoid wooden ones because they break easily. Also I've gone for longer tees, about 3 inches long. I tend to hit my driver better with them. For par 3's and using iron I use anything short I find next to the tee box.

Re: Best Tees

I'm like niumaiat: I use Zero Friction Tees for driver shots. They are bio degradable and seem virtually indestructable. For fw and iron shots, I use whatever broken tee I find on the teeing ground. There is usually plenty.

Re: Best Tees

I use wooden tees, usually white or regular wood colored. The ones I'm using now are to long and I break them everytime. With irons it's whatever tee is close to where I'm teeing it up at or if none available the broken one in my pocket from my last driver tee-off.

Brush tees seem to much like a gimmic to me. Plastic tees are bad luck.
