playing golf for a living???

I know PGA is the best opion, but what about us golfers who are good, but not great? i know there is the Nationwide tour, but are there other tours out there? as i see greg played the tommy armour tour. what is that, how do you join, and are there other tours like that out there. now i know the nationwide tour the best can make about 250-500k in a year. what about the tommy armour tour, what kind of money is involed in that or other "less known" ( at least to me) tours. and what do you need to shot to be able to compete with the people on theese tour? 75,70,65?

what about college, is that worst going to jsut to play golf or not. i have an AA degree but have plenty of job offers don't really need a BA but is golf worth going to colege for?

to sum it up, i guess what ways is there to make money playing golf other than becoming certified and teaching?

there are tons of mini tours and most of them you pay alot more than you win, like 120$ just to get in and if you win you might get a 300$ gift certificate

best bet would probably do the college thing, have a good coach and get some experience competing and then try q school if your handicap reaches the +s
