| My best par ever Just had to say it, today I had my best par ever. I was on a 540 yard par five dog leg right and I pushed my tee shot too far right and it was OB. So my next tee shot was good and only 190 to the flag, so I hit six iron past the flag and onto the fringe, then I chipped in. Goes to show you that you dont count your score untill it is made. I have also had a great bogey before where I pulled it into the water, then hit it into the sand, then blasted out and one putted. Tell a story about a bad hole gone good |

SInce all of the stuff I have learned is starting to come togethor in the last 3 months, I am still inconsistent and hold a 5.9 index as of right now. For example, today I shot 78 with two balls OB, and I do that when I come out of my spine angle. As far as posting a swing, I dont tape much anymore because I would pick my swing apart, When in actuality it is pretty consistent when I REALLY focus on my keys. But I will see what I can do, it would mean I would have to learn how to upload a video ![]() |

| Re: My best par ever Short Par 4 (about 350yrds) where you drive over an old Stone quarry (now grass covered but its still about 10m deep with steeply banked sides. It was a foursomes comp and my partner was only hitting his 3 iron off the tee, long story short he messed it up and put me half way up the quarry face. I then figured out my yardages, adjusted for uphill slope, adjust for ball bending left and hit my 5 iron from about 150m. When I finally climbed out of the quarry we were 3 inches from the cup. Needless to say our opposition were not impressed after their perfect drive. ![]() |

| Re: My best par ever shooting, you play a game from which I am not familiar. your distances are not only tour distances, but very good top ten tour distances. As to your question, I was playing on a windy day, on a 450 yd par 4. Pushed a drive, was blocked, faded (don't remember the club) to about 100 yds and then hit a low pw to within 5 feet and sunk the putt. BTW - on the shot OB, did you cock before you cupped?? sorry I couldn't help myself. Seriously at those distances, if you could get backing, I would consider trying a local tour and see how you do. However, you need to roll the ball better to get down to a plus 2 or 4. |

BTW, could you tell me the difference between cupping and cocking, and which should I do first? ![]() |
