| Re: Advice please! Think of it this way, aslong as you play to (or near) your handicap you will probably be the best player on the team. Golf has a handicap system for a reason. It far easier for you to play to 2 under than it is for the rest of them. Yet you can still throw in a few pars/birdies which give the team a shed-load of points. Low handicappers love playing with good high handicappers in team events. |

| Re: Advice please! As an 18 hdcpr, you will do your team more good than bad, as long as you play your normal game. We have a 16 hdcpr who plays with us, and not one tournament had been entered by us where the higher hdcp player did not help us finish high, or win. Any good shots, natural pars, or birdies you score are nothing but pure gravy to your teams' score. Go have fun, as you are there for a reason. GJS |
