I bought a couple of dozen Top Flite Distance balls, I'm just getting started again and the price was right. As I am hitting more greens I've not been able to hold anything close. I realize that some shots aren't going to hold but I've hit par 3's right on the money only to find out that I went 25 feet past the pin. Has anyone else had this problem with Top Flites. Also does anyone have any suggestions for a good ball that isn't 40 dollars a dozen.

yeah top flite aka rock flites are like that, well most of the time mine stay on the green but you must not be getting sufficient spin

there are plenty of balls, nowdays almost all balls are pretty soft, try titliest nxt, dt solo, or the bridgestone e5 or e6, i was amazed by those balls, almost made me say hole shiiiizzz(you need to see the commercial)
