Bouquets & Brickbats

I thought it might be interesting to start a thread (maybe a forum, Admin?) of praise and complaint; there are an awful lot of people out there trying to take our money, some are better than others, some give a good deal, some quite the opposite - the laws of libel permitting perhaps we could share ....

A Bouquet please for Nevada Bob's in Broadgate.

As happens from time to time I lost a head cover - from my utility club - so I wandered in to see if I could pick up a cheapish replacement. As it turns out it seems that you can buy replacement covers for woods, for irons, for putters but not for utilities. However after explaining what I needed the guys went to the stock room and brought me out an original - brand new and free of charge.

Ok I know that my Benross 2G Escape has been replaced by the 3G so the cover was going spare but still a nice gesture.

Lots of predators out there, con artists and grifters. I agree it would be a nice gesture to give some recognition to the many reputable companies, we do still have some!
