Cool Right!!!

I just got back from the range and have a bad problem with hitting all of my shots dead right. I am a right handed golfer. I tried a strong grip but not much difference. With driver the ball takes off right and has right curve. Irons just go dead straight right. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Re: Right!!!

No, it was a question to you. Where is your ball position for the driver? Front, middle or back?

Re: Right!!!

HAHA. ok yeah I thought you were saying that the ball position was the issue(it probable is anyway). With a driver, I line the ball up just on the inside of my left foot.

Re: Right!!!

Ok, good.

Now where is your weight at impact? Are you staying behind the ball up to impact?

Re: Right!!!

Alright, I try to have my weight on my right foot when on the backswing and left through impact, yet when I watch a video of my swing, it almost looks like I am trying to use to much body and fading away from the ball. When I went to the driving range yesturday, my dad, who is not even a golfer, noticed that if I put a club on the groud from my left foot to my ball, the shaft was not perpendicular to the target line but perpendicular to where I was miss hitting. If I put it so the ball and my left foot make a perpendicular line to the target line, the drive goes straight. This being said, I think I should be able to hit in other places besides right in line with the left foot. I seem to have trouble with rotating the club head from the open position to the closed on time. Square face comes to late.

-thanks for your time
