Golf-related injury?

I was playing a round today @ a Par-3 course that is right beside me home. All of the tee boxes at this particular course are artificial turf, like you'd see @ a driving range. I noticed my big toe hurting before I began play, but I started feeling it more through the round. I was wandering if anyone had ever got turf toe from playing golf before, because it seems thats what the symptoms suggest it is. Thanks

I don,t think you have Turf toe. Turf toe usually occurs in atheletes who regularly push off their body weight with their toes...the symptoms are more common in atheletes who train on artificial turf .

i would check your shoe fitting, maybe the sole is too rigid ?

ingrown nail?

I would say possibly ingrown nail too. Can be very painful with any weight put on it.
