| Hole in one Got a phone call from a buddy today who is only playing the game 6 months and recently joined a club. Playing in the Captains prize last Sunday, He also entered a birdie competition for par 3's. 7th hole 189 yds into the wind, a five wood and he aced the hole!! Collected the whole pot, €520!! I am playing about six years and closest I came was 6". Some people have all the luck  |

| Re: Hole in one Robert, Don't feel bad. I've been playing for 25 years and no aces yet. Been close (rolled over the hole or hit the pin) a few times but no luck. I recently read about a woman in Western Canada who had her first hole in one at the age of 84!! I think it was a 3 wood from 120 yards. So there's always hope! Tigress |

| Re: Hole in one A few years ago, I guess 7 or 8 years, I was in a tournament. One of the guys I was playing with aced out and won a car. I wasn't happy... I wanted the car.  |
