Re: bad in comps!

In competitions you obviously play off competition tees which are further back than normal, this may add 2-3 shots on to the sss. The problem is mostly mental however. You may be trying too hard and putting too much pressure on yourself. Relax, enjoy the atmosphere, you'll play better for it!

Re: bad in comps!

Hi Liam.
Sometimes we place more pressure on ourselves by making a situation seem more important than it actually is. You have to remember that although you are in a competition, yours is the only score that you can have any influence over.
Relax, have fun , play one shot at a time and let score build ITSELF.

cheers young man

Re: bad in comps!

Hi Liam,

I agree with the others as far as putting too much pressure on yourself in competitions. Focus on keeping a light grip and relaxed arms.
