hiya

my mate is having problems hitting the ball straight (to the target). alot of his shots just got 45 degrees from centre.

what is he doing wrong?

i tell him he should have his stance paralel to target.

his left foot aims towards the target and he doesn't have much bend in his knees

i'm no expert so i dont want to tell something that maybe wrong

Hi

Just suggest ,politely, that he has a lesson with the local pro. Tell him you have had a couple of lessons with him and what an overall improvement it as made to your game. if that fails get him to join GTO.

Hi Copper,

Just read your post and it sounds to me that he is not setting up correctly and also he could be swinging too fast causing no end of swing problems. As what aft says your best advice would tell him to go and see a pro maybe go with him if he is nervous which we all are when first going to them as no one likes asking for help.
