| sam You may be too eager to see where your ball si going and therefore arn't steching out in your thorugh swing because of this your club face could be closing imparting hook spin on the ball which I can tell you is frustrating. Try making an effort to shake hands with the target really strecthing out with straigt arms. this is what I did to help me. Also make sure your swing is not in to out becasue this also causes hooks. ha ha ha Never thought you needed advise from naz did you Sam. The pro will give you advise too but mine will work. |

| long irons Sam, You also might want to check your ball position. With out a ball, Strike the ground with your natural swing. Make sure to take a divot. If it looks like a backward letter c you are closing the clubface at impact. If the divot is straight like a strip of bacon then the ball may be to far forward and the extra distance the clubface is traveling is causing the hook. I couldn't suggest an answer with out knowing this. Golfbald |
