| Consistancy I need some help people! I keep goin to the range and the course hitting ball after ball. Every shot is different Ican not seem to find a consistancy in my shots. Sometimes I'll hit a 160yd 5 iron staight and the next time i hit the same club it goes 100yds and slices or hooks. I also hit golf balls at my house into the woods, and when there are no balls I will just swing my clubs. Does anyone have any suggestions |

| Re: Consistancy When was your last lesson with a certified professional? If it was recent and you are still having problems, change pros. If you haven't had one in a year or so, it's time for another. If you never had one, start to look around and talk to friends for known pros in the area for a series of lessons (3-4 is a good start). I can guarentee that this will solve your problem. You are doing some fundemental things wrong, and unless you get these identified by someone who knows what to look for watching your swing live, then very general questions like these will get you even more confused. If you are not willing to take lessons, then it is probably a good idea to start with reading some of the basics in the swing in books and work from the bottom up.

| Re: Consistancy go to the basics, if you are that inconsistent your set up would be the first place to start. Buy ben hogans book and read the part on grip 10 times over, do the same for set up. The man was a genious |
