Medicus vs. Momentus

Would you suggest the momentus or medicus? Also i was just wondering if using a medicus driver would be effective with helping you improve driving and all wood and iron shots, or just hitting drives? Post any reviews you have on each swing trainer.

Re: Medicus vs. Momentus

I have the Momentus. I like it because the weighted feel helps you gain strength and muscle memory. You hover it in the air so its nice and relaxing when you swing it. Its also short so you can swing it in your house if desired.

Re: Medicus vs. Momentus

I know some scratch golfers that have the medicus(the one with the hinge) and they can't hit it without it breaking down on them. I don't know if that hellps or not. I have used a momentus and like the feel you get from useing it.

Re: Medicus vs. Momentus

would the momentus iron be effective in helping you with your driver swing?? Becuase in all of the infomercials they use the iron then hit drives after they try the iron.

Re: Medicus vs. Momentus

Guys,

I have both the Medicus Driver and the 5 Iron. The 5 iron was good for helping me slow down the back swing alot and for a good 1 Piece takeaway. It's pretty good but you can do the same thing with just a slower backswing and some lessons. The Money would be better spent on lessons. You can swing it without it breaking and still not hit very well if You raise up or bend down as you swing and not keep Your head still and behind the ball, or not pull your hips ou of the way as You stirke the ball. The Medicus can't help you there much.

Re: Medicus vs. Momentus

Hi ,

If Your really interested in the driver, then get the driver. The arc of Your swing is different between the irons and the woods because with the woods the shaft is much longer. So I'd get the Medicus Driver, better yet I'd take some lessons instead.
