Exclamation swing thoughts.

Jim Furyk's swing has been made fun of , and, in my opinion unfairly critiscised.By what criteria do we judge orthodoxy. The old saw still holds good, it aint how but how many!

Re: swing thoughts.

I got this from Andrew Mowatt Australian Golf Pro

It is not how the club goes back but rather how we move it through the ball that count.A good case comparison is Jack Nicklaus v Ben Hogan. Both were great players Jack's back swing was 18 degrees more upright than Ben Hogan's. and significantly slower but the to the ball plane had only 2 degrees of difference and similar speed.
If you think of your back swing expect your results to go backwards.Jim Furyk's back swing while not typical is a position he knows he can hit the ball from with great control.
