Exclamation Re: Uk 2007 Golf Tution Online Comp Day

Hi Mark,

I played a company day at Hawkstone Park this year and a few guys stayed over and commented how good it was, course was great not to long and in great condition. Maybe worth a look although I'm easy.

Just a thought for Robert, we could all chip in an extra £5 (including him) to cover his flight, that way he will only pay the same as everyone else, I'll have me and Curley in my car but I could pick him up from Manchester, I assume he flies in from Knock as he lives near my family, if no-one else comes forward.

Ian.

Thanks Slats,

Forgot you are a Manchester boy..............If Robert can make it I am sure it will make the day.

Just need a venue and some possible dates now.

I'll e-mail Greg to see if he can make it.

Sounds like a good idea for robert as some good flight deals from Ireland can be found.

Well they might of spruced things up at Hawstone since usmale went there. I will look into it plus I will be visiting venues on my work travels to see which could give us a great deal and cost.

Cheers
Mark

Re: Uk 2007 Golf Tution Online Comp Day

Thanks Mark,

Just thought Hawkstone was a good venue as the hotel is on site next to the first tee, if anyone travels up/down the night before etc, they have a driving range onsite and the course it pretty short perhaps better for all h/capps, as this should be a fun day really, as there will probably more chatting than golf.

I fly to my parents and sisters every year for about £60/70 return from Manchester to Knock, if we have about 16/20 players then it would only be a couple of pounds each, Robert may well be a very wealthy but I thought it would be only fair that he pays the same as everyone else.

I think this will be great, I have e-mailed Greg our Director of GTO.

Hi Mark

It was Bidford Grange that was a shocker, Not played Hawkstone but heard lots of good stuff about it.

Re: Uk 2007 Golf Tution Online Comp Day

Hi Guys,

I'd be up for this. Sounds like a great idea.

I played at Hawkstone earlier this year and stayed at the hotel.

The hotel and both courses (Hawkstone and Windmill) were both excellent.
