| Re: Tennis players power i think that is because they know how build pressure through out the whole swing so that they can get a proper or "late" powerfull release. i put my right hand so that the shaft is right under the 2nd knuckle of my hand so as far as uncocking power i can use my 1st (fist knuckle) to push down and the space between my 1st to 2nd knuckle to uncup (kind of a dual action) i don't think you can get much power from the last two spaces after the 2ns knuckle, i just see hurting myself..... but if it works for them, alright. |

| Re: Tennis players power Hi Toni, Tennis players normally have very strong legs and are used to deriving power by their legs being squat and alive in their game. I think that keeping yourself fairly squat while maintaining good posture in golf brings more potential power to your disposal. Many golfers would be well advised to imitate the body language of the Tennis player, the golf swing does not work well from a dead start, just like the tennis player preparing to receive serve your feet and lower body should feel alive and balanced. |
