| Hitting ball fat on a downhill lie I recently played a tournament in Austin Texas where I had a perfect drive down the middle only to find it on a down hill lie about 109 yards to the pin. When I hit the shot it was hit very heavy and landed about 30 yards in front of me. Can anyone help me hittiong on downhill lies and what I should do? Thanks, Kelsey ![]() |

you should align youself (shoulders) with the slope and play the ball further back in your stance. |

| Re: Hitting ball fat on a downhill lie Thank you for your reply! The wind was about 20 MPH behind me and I hit a pitching wedge at the 109 shot. Would you recommend a different club or a punch shot into the green? Thanks in advance! Kelsey![]() |
