Golf Bag Recommendations

I need some feedback on carry golf bags with stands.
This what I am looking for:

1. Light weight with ample pocket space.
2. Good quality
3. Good spacing system so that my clubs (grips) do not get jammed or stuck.

He is what I have:

1. Sun Mountain - great bag except only has 6 division and my clubs got stuck despite having 2 full length vertical dividers.

2. Nike Extreme Lite - Good looking bag. Just found it too small or narrow.

I looked at:

1. Ping and Ping Hofer extreme. I still found the clubs cluttered and jammed easily.

2. Ogio Grom - Nice bag almost to big and getting up in price.

3. Ogio Vapour light - Perfect size, great club layout but I find the base or legs unsteady or flimsy.

4. Hogan stand bag - good looking bag similar to Ogio Vapourlight but it seemed like for a little more money I could get the Ogio.

Please send in your golf bag rankings.

Have a look at the attached link to Bennington Golf Bags. They really are the best, I have a cart organiser bag and it's great. They now have this carry bag with their club organiser and putter holder. All the club inserts have full length tubes. No more rattling clubs.

Re: Golf Bag Recommendations

Have you looked at the OGIO Flight SS?

The Shling is the bees knees, plus it's lightweight.

I've got both the Flight and the Vision, and before them, had the Grom. All great bags.

Re: Golf Bag Recommendations

Another vote for Ogio. That shling system is just the bees knees.

I'd go for the Flight SS. It's only slightly more heavy than the Vapour light but more sturdy and the shling will be better for your back than losing a pound of weight.

Re: Golf Bag Recommendations

From a quality standpoint I have had my best luck with ogio bags. The sun mountain and the nike bags seem to lose the "spring back" in the legs/stand prematurely. Quality wise ogion #1, Nike #2, Sun Mountain last, imho.

Re: Golf Bag Recommendations

Im into my second season with the Taylormade R7 bag, it may not be the lightest but it is well made and very comfortable plus there so many pockets ive run out of things to put in them!
