| the hawk for years ive just used whatever balls were lying aound. whatever i could find in the bottom of the bag. but recently ive started using the ben hogan: the hawk balls. ive found them really good off the tee but even better around the green. i know that balls make a difference but its a huge difference, im almost convinced its more mental than anything else. well let me know if youve used them before, if you like them or if you dont. just wanna discuss them. |

| Re: the hawk a buddy of mine once said balls arent that different, so I found five different styles and proceeded to bounce them off the club, upon hearing the difference he was surprised. The right ball for you can make a big difference. some people need balls that spin more, spin less, are harder or softer. The difference between a callaway hx tour, bridgestone b330, and a pro v1, is not that big. But the difference between a hard top flite/pinnacle and the prov1 is huge. |
