Re: Headcase

Who knows. Happens to a lot of us. I think the bad holes just make you question everything you did before that point and cause you to make unnecessary adjustments. We see ourselves making the same mistake the next hole and despite our best efforts our swing matches our negative thoughts to bring about the bad shot you were thinking about. It is hard just to wipe it from your mind right away and trust that what you were doing before was fine but the timing was a little off. Just put the same swing on it and your will get back on track.

Hi Boof,

I use to have the same problem but found out why with a friend one day what i was doing wrong. I would put too much preasure on trying to hit the green. This resulted in me tensing up and as a result rushing my backswing & downswing which led to allsorts of trouble. I have now worked on this and dont rush my swing but take an even more controlled and slower backswing. This has now resulted in me hitting more greens or becoming close to them so all I have to do is a little chip on.
It is amazing what a little more mind preasure can do to your game and cause some annoying shots.

Hope it helps
Cheers
Mark

Not enough information for me. Do you have to be so rude? it adds nothing but cheap jibes and inflation to your ego. Rather than rubbishing me maybe you could add something constructive to the issue instead.
