I use to have the same problem but found out why with a friend one day what i was doing wrong. I would put too much preasure on trying to hit the green. This resulted in me tensing up and as a result rushing my backswing & downswing which led to allsorts of trouble. I have now worked on this and dont rush my swing but take an even more controlled and slower backswing. This has now resulted in me hitting more greens or becoming close to them so all I have to do is a little chip on. It is amazing what a little more mind preasure can do to your game and cause some annoying shots. Hope it helps Cheers Mark |
