I just bulit a new set of clubs for myself last month. I guess I looked at 10 different vendors of replica clubs (clones) and decided on the Turbo Power VOS2 irons and woods. One reason was they were pleasing to the eye. I used Rapport Advent shafts with regualr flex and standard size Maltby basket weave grips. Does anyone own a set of the VOS2s and how do you like them. To me they feel better than the Dunlop DM3 clubs I'm currently using.

Re: Chief301 are these the custom-made ones (like the ones in my sig) so similar to Nike Slingshots? If so, I've had them for a bit - the weight is a little heavier than I'd like and I can't shape all my shots the way I want to. On the good side, the clubs really get up in the air without effort and make a pretty nice sound when I hit it flush. I've got some Mizuno MP-33s coming soon so the VOS2s will stay at home.

| Re: Chief301 Now you done gone an' done it. It's a slippery slope, my friend. It starts with a few wedges, maybe a putter. Then a set of irons. Then you learn some, and buy a freq. meter. Reshaft your irons. Buy grips when they go on sale, so you can try different stuff out. Upgrade iron heads, buy a new driver combo. Decide that this is fun, but you're tired of ordering stuff handpicked - buy a loft/lie machine. Wonder at how many heads are plain out of spec. Decide to keep plugging away. Build and NF4, and buy an air compressor because someone said you could grip that way, fast, easy, and no mess. Find a launch monitor on the cheap, and grab it, just so you can tinker and explore some more... Happened to a guy I know. Just warning you well in advance.

This is for LowPost. Did you like the clubs? Also for anyone. I'm going to be opening a small shop sometime this summer and need some advice. I need mailing addresses for companies like Turbo Power, Acer, And any "replica" equipment company out there. This is for SUA and Canada. Thanks, chief301

Re: Chief301 Hi Chief, I love all my clubs. They were all purchased at some point and time for one reason or another. Some to try, some to tinker, some to be gamers. Maybe you should head to www.hireko.com and ask them for those addresses. www.pinemeadowgolf.com may have answers for you, too.
