| The Forward Press Hello All, I am trying to incorporate a little forward press in my swing. Most of the books tell you to start the swing with a little forward motion and then move into the backswing. I know this might sound stupid, but it is driving me crazy. How can you start the forward press without knocking the ball off the tee? It seems you have to either hover the club over the ball or start the forward press way behind the ball. Both feel awkward. I would appreciate any help with this little move. Thanks, Chessbum.... |

| Re: The Forward Press You may be overcooking it. It's just a tiny, tiny little feeling to add some dynamicism to your swing. It may be just a microscopic move - less than a centimeter - just to trigger your swing. |
