Re: How do I measure if I've putted well? hi greens hit in reg and then number of putts taken. what i do is mark my card with a ring and put the number of putts in the ring, if no ring on card then i have missed the green and pitched or chipped to green. that way i work out the number of putts -the 2 putts per hole = if i put well or not. bill

Re: How do I measure if I've putted well? I agree - putts per GIR is probably your best indicator of your putting (but could also be quite indicative of your approach shotmaking ability). Still, 36 putts with 18 GIR is good...

Re: How do I measure if I've putted well? Hi There, One way of measuring your putting is the length of putts per round, easy to note on your card too. If you haven't holed over 50 feet of putts per round then your putting needs some work. Hope this helps. Ian.
