if you want a real challenge try heaton park its full of blind holes and uneven lies but every hole is different and it drains well so its very playable in winter. |

It's in great condition right now too (October 12). No offence to Heaton Park but the difference between the two is massive! Whitefield GC is about 600 yards from J17 of the M60. Enjoy |

| Re: golf courses in Manchester I'm not sure about the green fee on a Saturday. Probably £25 I'd guess but it is part of the 2 for 1 scheme (not sure how that works mind you). Call the office on 0161 351 2700 and they'll tell you! For a 4 handicap golfer especially, there isn't really any comparison between Heaton Park and Whitefield. Cheers |
