| Virginia Beach Golf course recommendation Hi All, I'll be in Virginia Beach next week on vacation. Any recommendations of good courses at reasonable prices in the area? I have played the following courses there: Stumpy Lake Hell's Point Honey Bee Kempsville Greens Would like something new... Thanks, Chessbum... |

| Re: Virginia Beach Golf course recommendation Okay, just got back home. Had a great trip. Played Honey Bee the first day and Red Wing Lake the second. Honey Bee is a great course for the money. I had some trouble with the sand on one hole but managed an 89. The next day, I went to Red Wing, a very nice course. The course itself was in VERY NICE shape and the greens were the best I have played on in the area, they play very true. I got away with an 87 which I was happy with (me being an 18 'capper). If you are not a Virginia resident they will charge you the out of state rate, but since I qualify as Senior I got the round for $37. Just thought someone might be able to use this info. I would play both of them again in a heartbeat!! Chessbum... |
