Hole in 1
Played yesterday in our members Invitation Day. I didn't really do too much, that was until the 18th. I hit a 7iron 165yrd up hill. The ball hit the green, 1 hop and in the hole.This was incidently a nearest the pin hole. WoW cant wait to get another !!!

This was made even more enjoyable, as there were a crowd of members and guests watching my shot from the practice putting green, which overlooks our 18th green.

A Dozen Prov 1x and a large bar bill.

I actually said to a member of our comps commitee there should be a additional prize for a hole in 1, this fell on deaf ears.

congratulations on the hole in 1. i'm yet to get one of them, closest being a week ago shooting within 25cm and losing nearest the pin due to a hole in 1.

our club has a separate kitty for the hole in 1 where participants for the comp day donate an extra $1. this all adds up and usually the winner of a hole in 1 will walk away with near $500 + 29 golf balls for nearest the pin.
