Golf courses in Phoenix area? Anyone know good websites to get accurate price info on courses in the Phoenix area of Arizona, USA? In So. California there is a cool website called Greenskeeper.org ( http://www.greenskeeper.org ) that updates their price info four times a year so it is accurate info. I;m hoping to play some relatively cheap golf in Phoneix around Easter weekend. I know it't the peak season down there right now though. Thanks

Re: Golf courses in Phoenix area? I found a website for the Arizona Golf Association and they have a course search mechanism that allows you to pick a price range for the results. Thsi is the link http://www.azgolf.org/directory/dire...tournamentName

Re: Golf courses in Phoenix area? Well I can't afford to spend a lot of money playing golf and not good enough to be hungry for the challenge of super nice complex courses. I tell people I'm not going to be broke AND humiliated, hehe.

There are some terrific courses just south of the city in the Chandler area. Wild Horse Pass resort has two Troon courses, not cheap but very nice. There are a number of other courses in that area that are less expensive. If you are staying in a hotel, call the consierge desk. They will provide you with course locations, distance from the hotel and prices. Also, many hotels will provide a deep discount to play on premise, such as the Biltmore.
