| Macgregor V-Foil M565s I've broken a rule today and bought a set of irons I've never hit. Why would I do something I tell every beginner not to do? Because I can't resist a bargain, that's why! I've been playing Mizuno MX-15s for nearly a year now and really like them, but due to my health condition I get really tired towards the end of the round. This has led my down the path of graphite shafts. I really wanted a set of MX23s or Di7's and have hit quite a few others this past week or so. Although I've never seriously considered Macgregor irons before and certainly not their bulkier game improvment clubs I picked up a V-Foil M565 7 iron with 4.5 Rifle shaft in the pro shop yesterday and really liked the feel. I was really suprised looking down on it at how good it looked. The minimal offset appeals to me too ( I used to play TA7 tours). Anyway, I found a site selling them with Graphite Design YS shafts for £149. Too damn good to refuse and I'll never lose out if I don't jive with them. so, am I forgiven? ![]() Dean |

| Re: Macgregor V-Foil M565s Fanks .The V-Foils have turned up and I know it was the right choice. They feel awesome - exactly the right profile and swingweight for me. Yes, I could have spent another nearly £300 and got the mizzy's, but no way could justify it after just buying a new house. These are going to be my new best friends ![]() |
