Taylormade R7 Weights

Just wondering if anyone else has come accross the following.

My cousin bought a TM Superquad earlier this week, his 1st time out with it today had some interesting results. From the first drive he hit some long drives with it and seemed to be able to shape the ball both ways(weights on neutral). However on the 8th tee he noticed there was a small rattle coming from the head and upon closer inspection we noticed that one of the screws was a little loose, which he tightened. He can't be sure if this had been loose all the way round.

Every drive he hit after this was pulled/hooked left, surely something so simple could affect the club in this way. Any comments appreciated.

Re: Taylormade R7 Weights

I wouldn't have thought so. I have my 8g weights on the heel and 2g on the toe. Got a bit of a fadey type of swing, and my go to shot for the fairway is to set up for a fade and that's no problem. Very rarely get a hook shot, when I do it's generally a horror worm-burner.
