Sonartec NP99 3 wood

I have been loaned a Sonartec NP99 15 deg 3 wood to try out, It has an Aldila NV 75 R/S shaft. I must say that the trial at the range was very impressive with a good penetrating ball flight.

I am missing a 3 wood from my set at the moment and am close to purchasing this one. Does anyone have any experience of this club?

Hi Slats,

I think the Np stands for "Nick Price" I believe this model has been used a bit on tour.

Why do you want to sell your Sonartec

hi brian
i went for stiff shafts in woods when i was having problems, turns out it was a swing fault i also have a 3wood HS9 cobra with a reg shaft which i am hitting very sweetly now so the sonartec is surplus to requirements.

was about to put it on ebay

Re: Sonartec NP99 3 wood

I've always wanted to try a Sonartec 3 wood but never got round to it. Being a member of a links course a low ball flight would be ideal. How much are you wanting for yours? PM me if you'd prefer.

Sonartec makes a good club. In the middle of my hybrid hunt, I was considering their new offering. But I just can't bring myself to pay OEM prices!

Re: Sonartec NP99 3 wood

I'd certainly look at a used head only.

If the price was, say, equitable with what I could build a component for, I'd certainly be all over it. I have 'new OEM purchase' stigma.

This one was owned by a mate who has moved abroad and wants to sell his kit in the UK. I could get it for a very good price. I think I have made my mind up based on the performance I had on the range, it was the easiest 3 wood I have hit off the deck and with great distance. I had not heard of them before.

I hoping to be the proud owner of Slats Sonartec by the end of the week.

My budgie does that too; can't put a ball in the fairway with it though.

Did you get it on Higher Perches?

Did I tell you the one about the Samurai with a stiff Fujikura shaft?
