| Hi all, Just a quick thread. I currently use titleist pro v/1 golf balls, but with them costing so much and me lossing them so much i was just wondering if anybody out there could recommend an alternative golf ball with similar attributes and not cost so much. I'd be looking for a ball to drop and stop? |

Titleist NXT Tour are pretty responsive and harder wearing. Strata Tour Ace are surprisingly good. Very ProV1-esque and almost half the price. Also, if it's cash you're looking to save I'd recommend Ebay. Just had my new installment of balls arrive this morning. 50 Nike One Platinums. All one hit wonders and look like new, no refurbished/X-OUT/practice balls. £36.00 including postage. Great ball. |

| Re: Balls!! I like the Srixon AD333 its a good all rounder. If you want to play a ball that is a bit of a star at a budget price buy a sleeve of Pinnacle Platinum balls and give them a try. They are made by the Titleist people, play nicely and don't break your heart if you loose them. |

| Re: Balls!! I know that you're going to laugh, but I would suggest the new Top Flite "Gamer". I won a sleeve at a local outing and these changed my mind! These are not your old "rockflites". I don't think that its as good as the Titleist, but I think that you will be surprised! I see them advertised at around $19.95/doz. Joe |
