Which is the lightest carry bag around?

Hi there, will anyone out there offer advise on the lightest carry bag available in the market?

I did my research and found the Nike Xtreme Light II to be the lightest at 3.9lbs. Am I correct or is anyone able to offer advise on an even lighter bag.

And I don't mean day bags. I am referring to one that can hold all 14 clubs.

Thanks in advance

hi
Ping has a bag under 2 lbs. the Ping moon bag takes a full set of clubs in its 3-way divider, external ball and beverage pockets and also an accessory pocket. also had a bag stray that stays up so you dont have to bend to pick the bag up.
cheers

Sunmountain has some ridiculously light bags.

My bag is tremendously easy on the back - an Ogio Exodus. It rides on my ClicGear 3 wheel cart.

Re: Which is the lightest carry bag around?

When I walk, I carry a Sun Mountain bag. Check them out. I did not buy it due it's weight (although it is light) but because it was comfortable to carry. Light and uncomfortable makes no sense when compared to comfortable and a little heavier. The strap system (padding & balance) is a very important part of a carry bag. Also it does not have a lot of pockets. Personally I am bad for filling up pockets with stuff I don't need which defeats the bag weight issue in the first place Just a box of 12 balls weighs about 1.2lbs. When I do walk a course carrying a bag, I don't carry my full assortment of 14 clubs, so I save weight there also. My walking/carry bag weighs about 18lbs which consist of 9+/- clubs, 6 balls, fruit, and a few other little things. Now my cart bag is loaded up with stuff, and wieghs about 35lbs+. When I walk a course with it, it is on a ClipGear 3 wheel trolley. GJS
