| Golf Guru 4 gps w/Touchscreen
Anybody heard of the new gps by golf guru? I've been thinking about getting one. They are taking pre orders and suppose to start shipping the week of July 6. It is a 3.5" touchscreen and has the capabilty to play music, store pictures, play videos, and with a coming software, can also be a navigational gps for your auto. It seems similar to upro, with the standard mapping for free, and aervu mapping with shot placement (layup) features at a small extra cost. The price is usually $399, but with a pre order discount it is running $349 right now. It has features that allow you to store all scores and stats, including girs, and firs and up to 30 extra structures per hole. It holds 200 courses at a time, and has a sd card slot for up to 8 GB additional storage. They say that the support team actually get a course request, or any request resolved in a matter of days, sometimes hours! That alone stands out by itself for me. Any more info would be appreciated. |
