Ping T ISI Tec Driver, 10*

I was in search of a more hittable driver. Two years ago I started by taking some lessons, going to the driving range and playing a few rounds. My old driver had to go. Last year I bought the wrong driver - for me. Turns out the only hits that driver had in it were the ones I used in the store.

This time around I bought what fits my newbie-over-forty fatman swing just great. It's the ISI-t driver in 10* loft. I bought the club as a demo from SECOND SWING. I paid $110 USD out the door. I can hit it. It inspires confidence. It has a big forgiving face.

It could be that it gave you a pyschological edge. I like my friend's King Cobra ... I saw one in the shop (used) or £180 :-( that's about $225 UD I think

Could be. I had bought a (stupid purchase) MacGregor Tourney Pro driver before, but never hit it well after i took it home. I thought I had shopped carefully and chosen wisely. The Macgregor never hit well for me after I left the store. But my high school daughters' somewhat short/light/flexible titanium driver continued to hit like a million bucks for me. She golfs varsity for the school and wouldn't just let me keep her driver. So that playability is what I sought when I shopped this time. I found it in this demo Ping. It's on a senior shaft - fits my slow swing just great.
