Finding a driver that suits

I am looking for a bit of advice. I have been using a 3 wood off the tee's, I am driving the same distance as my friends who are all using new drivers and I am always hitting it straight. Latley I have been trying to find a driver beacuse I feel if I could drive the same distance as them with a 3 wood I would be able to get a lot more yardage with a driver, but none of the drivers I have tried seem to work for me. My 3 wood is a mcgregor and has a 15 degree loft,steel shaft. Is there any drivers out there that would be on the same line as this or any sugestions of what sort of driver would suit me
