Re: Driver Rattle?

Is the rattle in the shaft or in the head? Has your club been reshafted lately? It is possible some of the epoxy broke off and is rattling around.

Re: Driver Rattle?

Most likely part of the weight in the head has come loose. Strictly speaking it wont affect driver performance but it is a pain to endure. If you have a Titanium head driver all you can do is whip the shaft out and try and empty it out. I would venture its probably not worth it if you can learn to live with it, try fewer waggles and you wont hear it as much, heh heh.

On the plus side if you bought it less than 2 years ago I would get in touch with the manufacturer, they should repair or replace free of charge. If they replace you will get the equivalent club from their current range.

D.

Re: Driver Rattle?

Thanks Guys,

I took it into the pro shop and they thought the same. They removed the grip first and turned the club upside down and out fell a bit of mud/grit. Whoever put the grip on apparently didn't cover the end with tape! Either way I must have leaned on my club with the grip on the floor and got some dirt in there.
