A couple of months ago I snapped my R540 driver shaft (pro force stiff). Yes it was through bad temper as i threw it to my right where it hit my golf bag and snapped!

I put it in to get re-shafted and when i got it back it made a rattle noise in the head which the golf shop said was just water. So they said they'd fix and said they had to heat it up to get rid of the water. Could this affect the club in any way???

Also the Weight thing at the back of the head looked a bit different although I didnt think anything of it at the time. Although a few weeks ago I was at the driving range and I realsised the weight at the back was now missing!!Will this affect the club performance??and are they easy to replace.

If the sound is a swishing, it could be water. If it's a rattling or knocking, it's probably epoxy.

Weight loss will certainly effect feel. As for performance, it all depends on what kind of club weight you swing best with. You may play better with this club, now.
