| Re: 3 Wood for 3 Wood Here's a silly question - you're 14, right? So, why in the world would you get a stiff shaft in your clubs? I have troubles seeing how you could generate enough club head speed to need a stiff shaft. Seriously - go get fitted properly and match up your frequency. |

| Re: 3 Wood for 3 Wood Are you mad? What are you going to do with a stiff shaft, go fishing? Don't even think of stiff shaft until your clubhead speed reaches 100mph and your swing efficiency reaches at least 2.2. Swing efficiency is a formula your club fitter will work with and it takes swing speed, ball speed and distance into account.Get a regular flex: 1. 45g Fujikira speedster shaft (brownish with black writing), or 2. 55g Cleveland Launcher shaft cut to 3-wood length (your club fitter should be able to do this) 3. 55g Aldila NV (the green one) 4. 55g Graffaloy Blue (the blue one with white writing! )5. 55g Harrison Striper shaft (yellow with blue & white tagging). Steve, don't even think of stiff shaft anything until you're swing at least 100mph and your ball speed in around 180mph!

| Re: 3 Wood for 3 Wood Can do that, sure. Also have a quick look at golfbidder.co.uk. Just watch out with costs. You might end up paying more for it than buying it once off from a retailer. When I get to the studio in the morning, I'll look up a qualified club fitter and let you know... Sorry, about the location. I wasn't "that" far off ... ![]() |
