| Re: new titleist drivers!!! Graham, how were they? I used to have the 975L-FE but was horrified when I tried the 983, the club is so dead! I tried it with Grafalloy, Fujikura and Titleist's own shafts and couldnt get to like them at all. They look a little better than the current ones in those pics. D. |

| Re: new titleist drivers!!! I had exactly the same thoughts when I first tried a 983K, it felt dead compared to my cheap Adams GT driver. I commented on this to the pro in the shop and he said it was because of the different construction of the drivers; I can't say whether he was right or wrong. I love the look of the club so I thought I'd give it another go a couple of months later when the price has dropped by a £100 (always tempting). I was drivng beautifully with it so decided to buy one. I have to say that it's not a great deal longer than the Adams but I hit the ball much more consistently and can feel the off-centre shots much better. |
