| Re: macgregor v-foil m455 irons Yep, I have tried them a few times. I have a great fondness for Mackies and if they are your style, you won't regret using them. I found the 455's great to look at and even better to hit if you want a good feeling club and a bit of help from technology. The special cavity design reduces the launch angle (so the ball doesn't baloon up) but keeps the cavity back advantage. If you don't mind the oversize head and offset, they are serious performing clubs. The soles are well designed as well so the club sits very well at address, if you want to open or close the face a bit. They were a bit heavy though, I thought. No doubting Mackie quality either - everything about is serious style. Now, getting them and club fitting them may be a problem. The only people I can suggest off the bat are the larger retailers like American Golf Discount, Nevada Bobs or some the regional retailers. If you tell me where abouts you are, I can contact MacGregor and tell you where the retailers are.

| Re: macgregor v-foil m455 irons Very similar in the process of doing it and reasonably similar specs. But, we never take it for granted because clubs vary in standard specs such a lot. I normally re-do the whole fitting process. Snake Eyes are cool clubs too! Not as popular as they should be. When you get to the UK, contact the agent (a great guy by the name of Philip Morley) at: MacGregor Golf (Europe) Ltd. Coronation Road, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire his phone number is: (01494) 755-900 his e-mail is: pmorley@mcggeu.com He'll be able to tell you where the closest fitter is.
